Nehalem Bay Health Center & Pharmacy Names Jamie Godwin Chief Operating Officer
Nehalem Bay Health Center & Pharmacy (NBHCP) has named Jamie Godwin Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Godwin oversees the organization’s day-to-day operations and works across clinical and administrative departments to strengthen coordination, support organizational performance and help ensure patients receive consistent, high-quality care.
Godwin brings healthcare leadership experience in clinical operations, organizational management and Federally Qualified Health Center operations. Her background includes improving workflows, supporting healthcare teams and strengthening access to care while helping organizations meet healthcare regulatory and operational requirements.
As Chief Operating Officer, Godwin’s responsibilities include operational strategy, workforce planning, compliance, budgeting and resource management, as well as supporting department leaders and organizational priorities.
“Strong organizations are built through teamwork, clear communication and a shared commitment to doing what is best for the people we serve,” Godwin said. “I am looking forward to continuing to build strong relationships across our organization and helping develop systems that give our teams the tools and support they need to provide excellent care.”
Godwin describes her leadership approach as collaborative and accountable, with an emphasis on listening to staff, communicating clearly and following through on organizational priorities.

Outside of work, Godwin enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the Oregon Coast, traveling, being on the water and working on projects at home.
