We strive to meet current needs while continuously improving and innovating. An open-minded, growth-oriented approach allows us to adapt and plan for the future.
We are committed to transparent, patient-centered decision-making that is fair, respectful, and supportive of one another.

Our history began in 1913, when Dr. Harvey Rinehart established a medical practice in Wheeler. The organization became a nonprofit in 1996 and a Federally Qualified Health Center in 2008. Nehalem Bay Pharmacy joined the organization in 2013, and the Neah-Kah-Nie Student Health & Wellness Center opened in 2021.
The name Nehalem Bay Health Center & Pharmacy became official in 2023.
Today, that legacy continues in our new facility in Wheeler, designed to bring more services together and better support the health needs of our community.

Nehalem Bay Health Center & Pharmacy is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors representing the community we serve.
