NBHCP Receives 2026 HRSA Advancing Health Information Technology for Quality Badge

Nehalem Bay Health Center & Pharmacy has received the 2026 Advancing Health Information Technology for Quality badge from the Health Resources and Services Administration.
This national recognition is part of HRSA’s Community Health Quality Recognition program, which recognizes Health Center Program awardees and look-alikes for achievements in access, clinical quality, health outcomes, and health information technology.
For patients, this recognition reflects the behind-the-scenes systems that help support high-quality care. Health information technology can help care teams coordinate services, share information securely, engage patients in their care, and better understand patient needs.
To earn the Advancing Health Information Technology for Quality badge, health centers must meet HRSA criteria related to telehealth services, online clinical information exchange with key providers, patient engagement through health information technology, and collection of data on patient health-related needs.
At NBHCP, this recognition reflects our continued work to use technology in ways that support patient care, improve coordination, and help patients access information and services.
What This Means for Patients
- Health information technology supports care in practical ways, including:
- Secure access to health information
