Harm Reduction Program

Harm Reduction Services at NBHCP

Compassionate, Judgment-Free Support for People Who Use Drugs or Alcohol.

What Is Harm Reduction?

Harm reduction is a practical, evidence-based approach that aims to reduce the negative consequences of drug and alcohol use. It supports people’s health and well-being without requiring abstinence or sobriety.

Just like wearing a seatbelt or a helmet, harm reduction strategies make risky situations safer. Our goal is to keep people alive, healthy, and connected — and to provide support whenever they’re ready.

You’re Not Alone — We’re Here to Help

At Nehalem Bay Health Center & Pharmacy, we believe everyone deserves care, respect, and safety — no matter where they are in their journey with substance use.

Whether it’s you, a friend, or a family member struggling with drugs or alcohol, our Harm Reduction Team is here to help. You don’t have to be ready to quit. You don’t have to go through it alone. You’ll be met with compassion, not judgment.
